Update on Gilberto

As you see, we haven’t posted anything on Pop lately. That actually is a good thing! The reason is that Pop has been doing very well. He continues to tolerate his chemo therapy treatments very well. He still gets them every week.

He has finally agreed to the fact that his chemo treatments are probably a long term consideration. He kept on saying, “when am I going to finish with this crap?” The doctors and I have finally convinced him that these chemo treatments are what are keeping his lung tumors from growing and that he should treat these treatments just like any other drug that you would take routinely for a sickness. I think he finally accepted this. Although, as we all know Pop, his ability to accept this can change from day to day.

Anyway, please feel free to call Pop and stay connected to him. Thanks to those who continue to keep him in their prayers.
