Status Quo

Jim and I accompanied Pop for his appointment with the oncologist today. The doctor said that his CT scan results show that his disease is “stable”. That means that there are no new tumors. The current tumors are very slightly larger in size but the doctor assured us that it was not significant growth. The plan is to continue the same course of treatment. He will be receiving the same chemo for another eight weeks. After eight weeks, they will repeat the CT scan again to restage his disease.

Pop continues to feel pretty good with minimal side effects. Special thanks to those who call Pop to stay connected to him.

September 13th

Pop continues to go for his weekly chemotherapy appointments. He went for his CT scan yesterday. We have an appointment next Tuesday to get the results. We are hoping that the chemo treatments are being more effective in shrinking his lung tumors. Jim and I will be accompanying him next week. I’ll let you all know how he makes out.
