Update on Pop- November 9, 2007

Pop had a follow-up appointment this week with the oncologist (cancer doctor). Pop’s cancer remains stable. He is to continue to chemo therapy treatments every two weeks. The only concern is that the current chemo therapy medication decreases Pop’s magnesium level. This gives Pop leg cramps and at times disables him. Therefore, he has to go Fox Chase for magnesium IV infusions twice a week. So, if you hear that Pop is going twice a week for treatments, don’t be confused. The treatment he is getting twice a week is NOT chemo but rather magnesium infusions to treat his low magnesium level.

Pop remains in good spirits through it all.

Just because his cancer is stable, please don’t forget about him.
