Day 2 in the hospital
Pop remains in the hospital. He is very slowly getting better. He still gets dizzy and nauseous when he sits up. At this point they are not feeding him until the nausea settles down, He is asking that he not have many visitors or phone calls as he is still very weak and tired, as you can imagine.
Currently, the doctors are unsure if they will proceed with a lower dose of chemo therapy or if they will discontinue it all together (due to his intolerance). I will keep you informed as I learn more.
Thanks for all your prayers, phone calls and emails.

Dear Lord,
You know Gilberto Rolón so much better than I do. You know his sickness and his need. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with Gilberto and his family now, working in his life, working in his families lives.
Lord, I pray for Gilberto and his family. I pray for the pain, the sickness and the fear Gilberto may have and for the fear, the stress and the heartache his family may endure. I believe You hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of Your promise. I have faith in You to heal Gilberto if it is to be in the plan you have for Gilberto's life. Lord, I don't always understand Your ways, and why people have to suffer, but I trust You.
May You be glorified in Gilberto's life, in his families lives and also in mine.
I pray for strength, wisdom, acceptance and hope to be lovingly placed around Gilberto and his family.
For this I ask, Lord hear my prayer.
En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo.
Amén.
Amen to the above. We're praying in Florida.
